Techniques Galore!

Good morning!
Thought I would do a little blogging after tennis this morning

before heading out to Craft Crossing in Gonzales!

Awesome doesn't really do these tags justice.  Maybe Aaaawwwweeeessssoooommmmee!  These tags by Design Team Member Janet Bradshaw are filled with fun techniques including shrink plastic, alcohol inks, and Distress Metallic Stains.  Looks like a new class could be in Janet's near future????

Jilda designed this adorable card using our Jam'n House, Jam'n rectangle and Home is Deep in the Heart of Texas stamps!  I love her heart punches that match the heart on top of the chimney and the red and white polka dot  paper is so cute!

Good morning!
There's no place like home in Texas!

Karen (KALDesign) made this adorable card using our Jam'n Houses Border and There's no place like Home in Texas!  Look real close and you will see the she used a variety of embossing  dies for the houses.  Go to her blog for a detailed tutorial of this card.

Blue Christmas

Good morning!

Libby sent me this card via e-mail this morning!  I want boots this color and I want all my Christmas decor these colors.  The Christmas greens and red with the stonewashed blue!  Love it.

Texas.Boot.Christmas combined!

This is one of those cards I wish everyone could see in person!  It's great in the photo, but it's one of those cards you want to touch.  Janet Bradshaw designed this card using our Christmas Boot and Merry Texmas.  The paper is like parchment paper and she burned the edge.  So rustic to look at and feel.

Life is Amazing!

Life is truly Amazing!

What a week!  What a month!  
Last week, we had to put my sweet, sweet, Lady dog to sleep.  
She had been with us 14 of her 16 years of life.  
Sweetest dog ever!  She didn't suffer.  I'm thankful.

Yesterday, a new member of our family was born - Alister James Griffin.  
Alister is the brother of our sweet Roxy
 and son of my nephew Dylan and his wife, Nina. 
I have the honor of being their Earthly Mimi, 
while Dylan's Mom (my sister) is their Heavenly Mimi.

Christmas and Chocolate!

Today's candy  holder designed by Jilda Bolton is just too cute!  Well, first of all, anything using chocolate will get my attention!!  But this candy matchbox using our Christmas Boot and Merry Texmas is whip cream on the chocolate and what a great stocking stuffer!

More coolin' off!

103 today and tomorrow!
It's not beginning to feel a lot like Christmas
except at my house -

Karen's "very cool" card was designed and created using Ranger Distress Markers, making this card very western and rustic.  Karen indicates on her blog (where she has a tutorial for this card) that she's always loved the look of water coloring, but never felt satisfied with her results until using the Distress Markers.  Thanks, Karen!  Love this card!

Christmas Card to Cool Things Off

A little Christmas Fun!

I love our Texana Designs Christmas Boot and Merry Texmas stamps.  These were designed back in 2008 (part of our first group of Christmas stamps).  

I thought it would be fun to see what the Design Team could do with these stamps.
