Cactus in Bloom

Good morning!

I feel like I'm on summer time.  That's a good thing, right?

Everywhere I go the cacti are just about to bloom and the Texana Designs team members have been designing some beautiful cactus frame cards at just the right time.  They used Texana Designs Jam'n Frame-Cactus and TEXAS is a State of Mind.  Love these cards and how one stamp can create two totally different designs.  You ladies ROCK!

Jilda used techniques from the Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 Blended Distress Ink class and her recent Copics Intermediate Certification Class to create this "rich in color" card.
Note:  Jilda and I took the Copics class last weekend and it was top notch.  I can't wait to find time to play with all I learned.

Products used for Jilda's card:
Stamps:  Texana Designs Jam'n Frame-Cactus and TEXAS is a State of Mind
Distress inks:  Brushed corduroy, crushed olive, peeled paint, wild honey, mustard seed, worn lipstock
Copic markers: E25, G24, G28, R27, Y19
Black embossing powder

Karen (see details on her blog) designed this card using one of her photographs and painting the stamped cactus frame with Prisma Color Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits (one of my favorite ways to color stamps) to create this very unique card.
